"POTR SAPPORO", which opened on the 1st floor of Sapporo PARCO in May this year, is the only brand concept store in Hokkaido where you can enjoy the world view of Yoshida bags. The design of the store, which displays kalimok wooden fixtures, furniture like wire containers, and plastic cases, is an image of a "factory" with a selection of Yoshida bags. The disciplinedness of waste and the beauty of the interior felt from a well-organized space resonates with the spirit of Yoshida Bagg's brand, which focuses on MADE IN JAPAN and sincerely faces manufacturing with the motto of “one needle soul”. A concept store where you can enjoy choosing a bag while having fun in such a space, "I'm waiting for it now or now." In addition to the standard items of Yoshida bags, we also offer limited items and collaboration items that can only be purchased here in Hokkaido.

"POTR/RIDE" collection

The RIDE, which was newly launched from the POTR in September this year, is a series that pursues ease of use so that you can safely carry luggage when walking, running, cycling, motorbikes, etc. Rachel's "MESSENGER BAG" has a cushioned pocket on the interior that can store a 16inch PC, and the side pocket is a convenient design that allows you to neatly store what you need not only when you go to work, such as 600ml plastic bottles and folding umbrellas, but also when you go out with a lot of luggage. "It fits perfectly with the clothes I wear today, and it's very cool when I actually bring it, and above all it looks very strong!　I didn't have a big bag unexpectedly, so I thought it would expand just by having one of these bags," says Rachel.
Mamiko, a volume bagist who says, "I don't regret even if a thief enters the house, I always carry everything important things," chose a compact size that can store personal necessities such as wallets and smartphones. "ROLL BAG" is attractive. It can also be attached directly to the bicycle with nylon tape arranged on the back, and can also be used as a handlebar bag. "It also comes with a short handle, so it's easy to use. It seems that I can pack a minimum amount of belongings, so if I am a large-capacity student, it seems okay to use a sub-bag (laughs)," says Mamiko.

“PORTER/SENSES” that can become a mindset

"PORTER/SENSES" is scattered with elements that allow the mind and body to become positive. The new series was launched in March 2022 to respond to the voices of those times, freeing from daily stress. We propose a bag that stimulates the five senses and makes you feel positive, such as the adoption of αGEL, which disperses the pressure applied by weight and relieves stress with a soft touch, and a soothing scent that calms the mind.
The smell bag in a small black drawstring has been scented by the incense long-established Shoei-do, which has been scented for over 300 years. The pleasant scent of natural origins such as sandalwood (sandalwood) is released softly every time the bag shakes. While sniffing the drawstring bag, the two chelmico synced in an instant, saying, "I'm healed with a very nice scent."

The two seem to be similar and completely different opposites. I asked about what was most influenced in forming my current self from an early age.
　
"It's music. My mother has always been listening to music and radio at home since I got a sense of mind. His mother really checked Hikaru Utada and hit charts that were popular at that time. I was also listening to overseas hit charts, so I wonder if I became sensitive to popular songs. I liked that kind of song, and I still like it. I think the music I listened to at that time is still alive in myself." (Rachel)

"Music, comedy and radio. I'm a family of five, but my father likes reggae, my mother likes Tatsuro Yamashita, Yumin, and Southern. And my eldest brother, who was 10 years old, listened to HIPHOP and HOUSE, and my second brother, who was 7 years old, was crazy about bands, folks and rock.……So just by staying at home, you can always listen to music of a completely different genre (laughs). Also, I loved Jim Jamesche's movie "Coffee & Shiga Let's" recommended by my brother, and I was very influenced by Jim Jammusch's work, such as looking for music videos of artists flowing there." (Mamiko).
